My voice?

Sassy with Heart: Balances humor, truth bombs, and “aggressive affection” to make hard topics

Approachable. Think of talking to a friend who tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear & does it all with unconditional positive regard

Unique Perspective

My perspective is shaped by my own upbringing, navigating various cultural backgrounds across generations through a psychological & emotional lens. I believe that the world is very big and we are just trying our best every day.

It shows up in every sentence I write, every session I have and every hug I give.

When I’m not writing or seeing clients, you’ll find me dancing with fire and doing trainings, and still gathering the moments that shape the work.

Soft focus of tall grass and wildflowers in a field, with a blurred background.

Inspirations

I’m endlessly drawn to the various types of horror media. Weird? Maybe. Honest? Definitely. My shelves are full of stories where things are left of center and more often than not, go wrong. It’s not the struggle I enjoy but the creativity that comes from it.

I can’t stop exploring books that sit with the darker parts of ourselves and how our lived experiences shape us over our lives.

Before I called myself a writer..

I am a therapist trying to change the world one person at a time, a student learning that we are unique but not special in our experiences, and a business owner who quietly questions why money over morals prevails.

Each of those chapters taught me that someone has to make the first move and if no one else will, I will. That now shapes how I write and work and who I do it for.

What I’m Exploring Now

Smiling woman with glasses and a black headwrap sitting outdoors among green tropical plants, wearing a pink and purple tie-dye shirt and blue pants.
Hello!

Right now, I’m writing about how to help young humans in as many places as possible and asking myself: What else I can do to help you?

Beyond the Page
When I’m not at the desk, you’ll find me blacksmithing, dancing, looking up at the moon and bothering my younger brother.
